We will pick a selection of 50 seasonal flowers grown sustainably at Florians in Hampshire for collection or local delivery to arrange yourself at home. Flowers will be prepared freshly cut in containers or brown paper.

We will pick a selection of 100 seasonal flowers grown sustainably at Florians in Hampshire for collection or local delivery to arrange yourself at your location. Flowers will be prepared freshly cut in containers or brown paper.

Making a Cutting Garden

This Spring, join Michelle on Thursday 15th May from 11am-2pm in the Greenhouse & Gardens of West Green House and she will show you how to plan, prepare and sow flowers to be ready to cut from late spring till Autumns end.

Harvesting and Drying

This Summer, join Michelle on Thursday 28th August from 11am-2pm and continue the story of The Cutting Garden demonstrating how to preserve your flowers to look decorative in the house and in wreaths any time you wish to display them.

Planting Festive Bowls

Florians Botanical Ltd is owned by Hampshire based Horticulturist, Michelle Washington-Jenkins.

Like many people, Michelle's journey to horticulture has been preceded by a different route altogether. After leaving The Marist School in Ascot at 16 years old, Michelle worked as Dancer starting in Nagoya, Japan. Afterwards, a career as a private Pilates teacher in Mayfair & Chelsea during the late 1990's to mid 2000's. Michelle then co-founded Shoreditch based model & talent agency, W Mgmt, in 2007 and remains a Director.

A career break to raise 3 children and a decade later of growing plants and flowers, Michelle retrained academically though the Royal Horticultural Society and worked as a professional gardener at Heckfield Place & West Green House, where she continues to host workshops.

Michelle can often be found in her own Victorian walled garden and two acre plot in Dipley filming and encouraging others to share her passion for growing sustainably, no matter what age and stage of their life.
